Via Google Review: “After looking at reviews on local town Facebook groups and reading Google reviews. I chose American Waterproofing over U.S. Waterproofing and other companies. According to other reviews American Waterproofing was more reasonably priced. However, after contacting them, not only were they reasonably priced, their customer service was down to earth, honest , responsive, professional and on time. Overall customer service was impeccable and above and beyond. Needed to my parents home which had been vacant for several years. It was clear there was a previous flooding issue. After having the basement gutted by another company. American Waterproofing was contacted they discovered six cracks in the foundation. (Home was built in ‘60/‘61).They were able to come out the following week. Other companies could not make it out for a couple weeks. This situation needed to be remedied ASAP so that the house could be listed and not lose out on the small time frame left in the home sale market. The six cracks were filled and gutters were cleaned (not by American Waterproofing). Three rainstorms later . The basement was dry. There was evidence of previous leakage from the cracks (stains on concrete) I believe the combination of crack filling and gutter cleaning resolved whatever previous flooding issue there may have been. Again, not only was American waterproofing reasonably priced, Rob was so patient with all of my questions and requests. The house sold within a day and American Waterproofing had the warranty put into the new homeowners names. Their attorney had an additional request and Rob fulfilled their request without hesitation.

He and his crew were out the very next morning and dug deep down to the surface of our basement to seal the crack – just ahead of eminent rain. Rob is very honest, qualified, and responsive – and guarantees his work. 5 stars, hands down!” January 2023

Via Angie’s List: “We had some seeping in the basement from sleet and rain. There were huge cracks in the foundation, which he sealed. The work took a half a day. I had enough of the seeping water and was selling the house, so I had to have it taken care of. It was like a domino effect, one thing happened, and in order to take care of that, we had to do something else. They were good about informing me about what other things I needed. He was honest, in terms of pricing. He wasn’t trying to charge me too much.” September 27, 2007 

Via Angie’s List: “We were getting water in our basement. We had 2 plumbers come out and give us proposals on how to solve the problem. Rob came out and assessed the situation. He said he was positive that our issue was not a plumbing issue, that it was cracks in our foundation and space around our siding and windows. His quote was half the price of the plumbers’. Even though he was extremely busy due to the amount of flooded basements at the beginning of the summer, he was able to squeeze us in at 7:00 am before we were leaving to go out of town. We have had a dry basement ever since! I would recommend Rob to anyone having issues with water in their basement. ” July 27, 2014

The owner called back immediately and came on time. He came out a number of times to find the cracks. This was during rain storms, so he was unable to repair at that time. He only charged us for the work that was finally done and not for the visits that lead up to the repairs. I would use this company again and recommend them as well.
